- EURONICS, one of the leading retail cooperatives in the German consumer electronics market, becomes the latest sponsorship partner of Mercedes-Benz in the DTM
- The EURONICS Mercedes AMG C-Coupé will be lining up on the grid for the first time in the DTM season opener at Hockenheim
STUTTGART : January 22, 2013 - The announcement that the retail cooperative has entered into a sponsorship deal with Mercedes-Benz for the DTM was made at the press briefing on the group’s annual results held on 22nd January 2013 in Stuttgart. From the 2013 DTM season onwards, the EURONICS Mercedes AMG C-Coupé will ensure high visibility for the EURONICS brand in the world’s most popular touring car series. The new DTM season starts on 5th May at its traditional opening venue, Hockenheim.
EURONICS Deutschland eG is a well-established and dependable partner for small to medium-sized retailers of consumer electronic goods. With a total 477,000 square metres of retail space between them, vendors in the EURONICS group sell a wide range of products in the consumer electronics, home appliance, telecommunications, PC/multimedia, digital photo and entertainment software segment.
The cooperative has around 1,700 members in Germany trading at retail premises in over 1,900 locations and employing more than 12,000 people. Based in Ditzingen near Stuttgart, EURONICS was founded in 2004, but the group’s roots can be traced back much further.
